Web Developer

This is an 8am-5pm role within our IT Team that is responsible for building top-to-bottom web experiences. Have influence in design, development and testing. Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with our web designer, IT manager, coworkers, clients and other stakeholders to develop leading edge web solutions
- Developing and maintaining in-house front and back-end systems
- Managing your own workflow and deadlines on multiple projects
- Responsible to management for reporting on project status, improvements and future possibilities
- Be proactive and reactive when needed to solve any technology related concerns that may arise
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess a strong combination of the following experience:
- Preferably 2+ years web development experience
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related (not required but an asset)
- Standards-compliant code that functions cross-browser (IE7+)
- Advanced HTML5, CSS3, AJAX and JavaScript
- Advanced PHP skills
- MySQL
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Program without the use of content management systems
Extra points for:
- Good design sense
- Experience developing CRM's or job boards
- Experience developing mobile websites and/or applications

We are currently hiring for a Response Coordinator to work in our Mississauga office, located near Dixie and Derry Road. This is an 8am-5pm role within our Response Team that is responsible the overall success of NetHire and client initiatives. This is a wide ranging position that covers marketing of job advertisements, coordination of NetHire and client projects, day-to-day oversight of job response, social media, public relations, customer service and company newsletters.
This is a front-line position that requires a great attitude towards assisting others and striving for complete satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the success of client job postings by writing, reviewing, suggesting improvements and conversing with NetHire Account Managers and clients to ensure jobs are appropriately written
- Use NetHire technology approve and monitor job posting dissemination
- Utilize social media to market job postings, NetHire, NetHire partners and clients
- Work with recruiters and clients to ensure project success on recruiting and web development projects
- Write and/or edit newsletters, articles, event releases and press releases
- Prepare, create marketing materials for, and attend job fairs and conferences
- Manage your own workflow and deadlines on multiple projects
- Responsible to management for reporting on project status, improvements and future possibilities
- Be proactive and reactive when needed to solve any technology related concerns that may arise
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates will possess a strong combination of the following experience:
- Post-secondary education in HR, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Business
- Exemplary writing skills
- Previous experience in HR, recruiting or marketing environment is preferable
- Ability to work independently, meet project deadlines and multitask
- Knowledge and experience with social media marketing and/or content creation
- Great Customer First attitude
Extra points for:
- Some experience with HTML
- and/or Photoshop/Fireworks
- Experience with Analytics, Web Design, Web Marketing or social media applications, such as Hootsuite
- Previous writing or communications experience
